SOLUTION FOR URINE STAINS OM MATTRESS
In my previous blog, I was talking about bed wetting in toddlers.
I have over time learned how to deal with it at the best way I could.
Toddler do have accidents, especially at night while sleeping. The end result is ending up with a urine stained mattress that is not a pretty sight at all!
So below is a few steps you can try to get these nasty stinky stains out of the mattress, with little effort, yet excellent results!
ON FRESH URINE STAINS:
2. Make up a solution containing of the following:
- Water
- Baking Soda
- Vinegar
- Rubbing Alcohol (optional)
- Spray Bottle
3. Spray the infected area on the mattress and leave solution on for about an hour (the whole day (if possible) could also work wonders
4. You will see the stain and urine smell disappearing like magic!!
5. If prefered, you can vacuum the mattress at the area once its dry to get rid of any residue left behind from the solution
FOR OLD URINE STAINS YOU CAN SKIP STEP 1 AND FOLLOW THE REST OF STEPS.
I HAVE HOWEVER COME ACROSS STUBBORN ONES WHICH NEEDS A BIT OF SCRUBING WITH A BRUSH
And that's it! As easy as pie. I tried this several times, and it works perfectly.
It beats having to carry out the mattress outside (which I have done before) and washing it, waiting for it to dry the whole day!
